Breath & Time landscape painting opens into an expansive sky that lifts you up. Great clouds of peach, yellow and lavender move across the blue, while the earth below stretches quietly toward a distant mountain range. The scale of the sky makes you want to keep looking, following the light from one cloud to the next.

There are moments when we look up and become aware of how quickly everything is moving, while somehow feeling completely still ourselves. Clouds gather and disappear, light changes, time continues. Breath & Time holds that moment long enough for us to notice it.

There is something about giving ourselves time that allows us to notice more. Breath & Time grew from that idea, and from the beauty of those moments when the sky seems to come alive and hold our attention.
